Foundations of Islamic Belief: New Muslims begin by learning the core beliefs of Islam, including the Five Pillars and the Six Articles of Faith. These sessions are designed to provide a strong foundation, focusing on understanding Allah, the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and the importance of prayer, charity, fasting, and pilgrimage.

Step-by-Step Prayer and Worship Guidance: Learning to perform the prayers (Salah) and other acts of worship can be a challenge for new Muslims. Our instructors walk students through each step of the prayer, helping them memorize essential phrases and understand their meanings. Additional lessons cover Wudu (ablution), the etiquette of prayer, and other acts of worship.

Quran Reading and Memorization: We introduce new Muslims to Quran recitation with a focus on basic Arabic reading skills and proper pronunciation. This helps students begin reading and understanding the Quran, instilling confidence in reciting short chapters and understanding key verses.

Introduction to Islamic Lifestyle and Ethics: Islam encompasses more than just belief; it’s a way of life. Our program includes sessions on Islamic etiquette, values, and practices, such as kindness, honesty, patience, and respect for others, helping students incorporate Islamic principles into their daily lives.

Understanding Islamic History and Culture: To provide a broader context, students are introduced to the history of Islam, the life of the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and the stories of the early Muslims. This deepens their connection to the faith and provides role models for emulation.

One-on-One Mentorship and Support: Every new Muslim receives a mentor for ongoing guidance and support, creating a personal connection to help answer questions, address challenges, and provide encouragement as students progress in their learning.

Community Engagement and Support Networks: We offer opportunities for new Muslims to engage in online community events, classes, and forums. This sense of community is essential for building relationships and receiving the emotional and spiritual support that new Muslims often need.
